Cookie policy
Version 1.0. Effective 4 October 2026.

What cookies and pixels are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. A pixel is a small piece of code that tells another company, such as an analytics or advertising provider, that a page was visited. Browser storage does a similar job. This policy calls all of them "cookies".
Your choice comes first
On your first visit, an overlay asks what you allow. Until you choose, nothing optional is set and nothing optional loads. You may allow analytics, advertising, both or neither. Saying no does not limit your use of the site.
The categories
- Strictly necessary. Always on. These make the site work and remember your cookie choice. If a form fails to save, what you typed is kept in your browser tab so that you need not type it again. It stays on your device. The site's typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them and Google receives your IP address.
- Analytics. Off unless you allow it. Tells us how many people visit and which pages they read.
- Advertising. Off unless you allow it. Lets us measure our advertising, and show our advertisements on other sites and apps to people who have visited this one.
The providers
| Provider | Category | What it does | When it loads |
|---|---|---|---|
| Docket Entry (this site) | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choice. Keeps an unsent form entry in your browser tab. | Always |
| Google Fonts | Strictly necessary | Delivers the site's typefaces. | Always |
| Google (Analytics and Ads) | Analytics, Advertising | Counts visits. Delivers and measures our advertising. | Only after you allow it |
| Meta (the Facebook pixel) | Advertising | Delivers and measures our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. | Only after you allow it |
If we add a provider, we will list it here before it is switched on. Each provider handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy.
Changing your choice
Use "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page to change or withdraw your choice at any time. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser's settings. Withdrawing stops collection from then on.
