Changed in this version: the free sample is removed, including docket-watching and unprompted outreach to lawyers of record.
Excelerator Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, doing business as Docket Entry. Notices: [email protected].
Who we are
Excelerator Labs LLC d/b/a Docket Entry, 7862 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy #82, Kissimmee, FL 34747.
We are a technology company. This policy covers this website and the evaluation. Work for paying customers is covered by a separate signed agreement.
What we collect
- What you type into the form. To start: your name, your work email and your firm. To ask about the Founding Firm Program: your name, your email, and a note if you write one. We also record that you agreed to the Terms and this policy, and when.
- What an evaluation involves. The account details your firm gives us to set it up, and a record of the evaluation's status.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, ours receives your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages requested and the time.
- Cookie and pixel data, only if you say yes. Analytics and advertising tools load only after you allow them in the cookie overlay. See the Cookie Policy.
- What you send us by email.
We do not ask for client files. Please send nothing confidential and nothing under court seal.
What we cannot read
Your client files, your privileged communications, and the rest of your matter. They are worked on inside a sealed environment. Docket Entry’s people and ordinary systems cannot read them.
How we use it
- To set up and run an evaluation with your firm.
- To answer you, including about the Founding Firm Program.
- To run and protect the site, and to keep a record of agreement to the Terms.
- If you allowed it: to count visits (analytics), and to deliver and measure our advertising (advertising).
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host the site and its database, deliver our email, and supply the computing we use to run evaluations. We share it so that they can provide those services to us.
- Analytics and advertising providers (Google, Meta, and any other listed in the Cookie Policy), only after you allow them.
- Others, rarely: when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the site's security, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
- Contact details: while we are in touch with you, and for up to 24 months after our last contact. Then we delete them or remove the personal details.
- If you ask us to stop or to delete: we act within 30 days. We keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so that we do not write to you again.
- Technical logs: only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
- Your cookie choice: stored in your browser until you change it or clear it.
Your choices
- Stop. To stop messages from us, reply to any message or email [email protected].
- Cookies. Change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.
- See, correct or delete. Email [email protected] from the address concerned. We will confirm it is you and answer within 30 days. Public court records are not ours to change.
- Do Not Track. The site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Optional cookies and pixels stay off unless you turn them on. Once on, those providers may collect information about your activity over time and across other websites.
California
If you live in California, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct or delete it. We will not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell personal information. If you allow advertising cookies, the data that reaches advertising providers may count as "sharing" under California law. You can turn that off at any time in "Cookie settings".
Europe and the United Kingdom
The site is meant for lawyers in the United States, and information is stored and processed there. If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we use your information on these grounds: your request, our legitimate interests in running the site, and your consent for optional cookies and pixels, which you may withdraw at any time. You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy, you may object, and you may complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The site is for practising lawyers. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version and date at the top show which one is current. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
